Essentials items to make your party and beach time all the more fun.
Goa’s Sunburn Festival is the talk of every town but to make sure that you have maximum fun and no heartburn on your vacation, include these must-carry items listed bySkyscanner in your shopping list.
1. Sunscreen
Sunscreen is a no-brainer for something that’s called ‘Sunburn’. Get a good spray-on sunscreen or one that does not make you sweat as you’re going to be quite hot and sweaty already from all that partying.
2. Mirrored Sunglasses
The sand reflects a lot more sunlight and beaches tend to hurt the eye a lot more. To protect your eyes from the sun’s harsh rays, pack two pairs of sunglasses, preferably with a mirrored finish. They are also make for great cover-ups for sleepy or hungover eyes.
3. Tent
Sunburn has introduced camping on the venue for backpackers and others who do not get an accommodation, or for those who simply want to camp for the love of it. Remember, if you do plan to camp, look up a list of camping items to pack in addition to this list.
4. First Aid Box
There is going to be a lot of pushing and shoving around at Sunburn and it wont hurt to carry a first aid box to take care of emergencies. Pack in some basic medicines for headaches, colds, tummy runs and the like. If you are a hardcore party animal, it might be a good idea to have some OTC anti-hangover pills on you.

5.Insect Repellent
Mosquitoes are everywhere in India and Goa is no exception. Since you are going to be mostly outdoors after sunset, carry an insect repellent to be safe.
6. Ear Plugs
Whether you’re staying at a hotel or camping, earplugs can help you sleep well. After all, you can’t blame ‘Sunburners’ to want to party all night!
7. Water Bottle
Although there will be plenty of drinking water available at the venue, you will be better off carrying your own little bottle since queues at water points can be pretty long at times. Moreover, you will save up on buying bottled water anywhere you go.
8. Comfortable Footwear
There is going to be a lot of toe stepping and dancing so carry a pair of comfortable footwear like the ones from ‘Crocs’ that cover your toes and are waterproof as well.
9. Fanny Pack
Instead of a sling bag or a tote, carry all your essentials in a stylish fanny pack that comfortably rests on your waist and is easy to access. Your hands can then be gainfully employed in dancing or holding your drinks.
10. Little Black Book
You’re going to be with friends but it doesn’t hurt to be extra careful. We suggest carrying a little black book with your details, blood group, emergency contact numbers and the hotel address neatly jotted down in it. You can also use it to take down travel notes and make to-do lists (dance to this song, then sing to this one....you get the drift!).
11. Wet Wipes and Hand Sanitizer
We can’t stress on how important it is to carry wet wipes and a hand sanitizer to the beach. The weather in Goa is balmy throughout the day and a quick wipe down can make you feel clean and refreshed in no time.
12. Money Belt
It’s a good idea to keep your credit cards, extra cash, IDs etc on person and money belts are a great way to keep them hidden and safe. Buy a comfortable belt and make sure it does not irritate your skin. This is even more essential if you decide to camp.
13. Selfie Stick
You’re going to be making a lot of friends at Sunburn, and your hand held selfies are not going to do justice to capturing those crazy moments. A selfie stick however, will be a great addition to your Sunburn investment.
14. Powerbank
If you’re going to be taking countless pictures and videos at Sunburn, which you most probably will, carry a portable power bank to charge your devices. Because running back to your hotel room to charge your phone and camera will be such a waste of time!
15. Dry Shampoo
Sporting a messy or a bed head style is cool but you don’t want to have dry, sticky or smelly hair. Dry shampoo is a miracle in such situations, if you haven’t tried it yet, go get one today.
16. Foundation
You’re going to be tired after all that partying and your skin is going to be too. Carry your favourite foundation and concealer to hide dark circles and spots, and be party ready from morning till night. If heavier foundations are not your thing, try good BB or CC creams which are lighter and more sheer.

17. Face mist
You’re going to sweat a lot. Carry a small face mist to freshen up the face and get some instant cooling.
18. Lip Crayons
With long hours of partying and drinking lined up, everyday lipsticks are not going to do the trick. Matte lip crayons in a couple of shades will be perfect for the occasion since the color stays on long after you’ve chugged down those beer bottles!
19. Fresh Mints / Mint Spray
Sunburn is a hot venue to run into interesting people. You never know when you might spot a cute guy/girl – freshen up your smokey breath a bit before you go strike a conversation.
20. Jacket
It’s going to be pretty hot in the day but the see breeze can be a bit nippy in the evenings. It’s always a good idea to carry a light jacket that can also be used as a pillow or a mat to sit on the sand.
